Surge is a self-excited vibration occurring in the compressor during operation. Surging is a rather dangerous occurrence and, in severe cases, compromises the safety of the compressor and the plant. Therefore, in order to ensure the safe operation of the compressor, it is necessary to prevent the occurrence of surge phenomenon.
