在现代金属制品工业中,连续式高速拉丝机获得了愈来愈广泛的使用。它具有机械化程度高的特点,和老式拉丝机比较,它的拉丝速度要高得多,并且具有极为灵便的调速设备。由于旧式拉丝机拉丝速度一般都较低,并且不易实现速度的变换和调节,所以在这种拉丝机上速度的影响很小,一般都不会对钢丝性能产生不利的影响。但在高速拉丝机上速度的影响却很大,需要着重研究及探讨速度与钢丝质量的关系。
