1950年3月31日苏联共产党中央的“文化与生话”报上发表专文,对苏联科学院地理研究所的领导思想及实际工作,提出了严厉的批评。自此以后,直到今天,苏联地理学界展开了广泛的讨论,提出了许多问题,并适当地批判了若干错误倾向,解决了若干问题,其经过请参看笔者在“学习”五卷二期的报导和在“新建设”五卷一期的论文;这里专就苏联科学院地理研究所举行的讨论(学术会议)加以报导,系根据维扎舍娃的专文(见苏联科学院“通报”1951年第六期)、维扎舍娃及柏列奥伯拉任斯基的报导(见“哲学问题”1981年第三期)、格里哥黎耶夫本人的检讨(见“哲学问题”1951年第一期)和地理研究所集刊第一期(1951年)编写而成的。因为纪录原文尚未发表,因此文中所引的话可能有出入。
On March 31, 1950, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union published a special paper on “Culture and Life,” and severely criticized the leadership and practical work of the Institute of Geography at the Soviet Academy of Sciences.
