由天津市金属学会主办的华北五省市第二届冶金优秀青少年科普夏令营于1998年7月28日在烟台举行。五省市金属学会选送的优秀青少年代表五十二名,辅导员十五名参加了本次夏令营活动。五省市金属学会秘书长也参加了此次活动。在开营式上,中国金属学会综合部副主任李静安同志代表中国金属学会向夏令营开营表示祝贺。五省市金属学会代表及营员代表分别发了言。开营式在一片严肃而和谐的气氛中进行。
The 2nd Metallurgical Outstanding Young People's Popular Science Summer Camp sponsored by the Tianjin Institute of Metals was held in Yantai on July 28, 1998. Fifty-two outstanding young people selected by the Metals Institute of Five Provinces and 15 counselors participated in the summer camp. Secretary-General of the Metal Association of Five Provinces also participated in the event. At the opening camp, Comrade Li Jing'an, deputy director of the comprehensive department of China Metallurgical Society, congratulated the China Society for Metals on camp opening. Five provinces and cities metal society representatives and campers representatives made statements. Open-ended in a serious and harmonious atmosphere.
