数学史是反映数学文化的历史,数学史教育应体现数学的文化价值,我们可以从数学史中挖掘数学文化,展现数学文化的魅力。在平时的教学中,教师可以将古今中外数学史中有关数学家学习、发明的特殊案例,数学体系发展完善过程中所蕴涵的一些重要的数学思想及其形成进行提炼和加工,适时地向学生介绍和渗透,对引导学生喜欢数学、培养学生不懈追求真理的精神、提高学生能力都会有很大的帮助。
