各位代表:自第一届会议到现在第二届会议,已经过了一年的时间。我代表市人民政府将一九五○年一年来的政府工作和一九五一年的工作任务向这次会议提出简要的报告,请各位代表审查修正和决定。我的报告分两部分:第一部分一年来的政府工作财政经济工作(一)恢复生产与调整工商业:重庆是一个工商业城市,恢复生产具有头等意义,我们接管工作告一段落之后,就本着第一次各界人民代表会议上刘主席所给予我们的「为建设人民的生产的重庆而斗争」的指示,以恢复生产为重庆的中心任务。一年来,在恢复生产的过程中我们遭遇的困难是巨大的,但我们响应了邓政委「团结起来,战胜困难」的号召,依靠全市人民的共同努力,克服了困难,获得的成绩也是显著的。
Distinguished delegates: A year has passed since the first session and now the second one. On behalf of the Municipal People’s Government, I submit a brief report to this meeting on the work of the government in 1910 and the work in 1951. Delegates are invited to review the amendments and decisions. My report is divided into two parts: Part One Government work in the past year Fiscal and economic work (I) Resuming production and adjustment of business and industry: Chongqing is a commercial and industrial city with first-class significance after the resumption of production. After we took over the work, At the meeting of people’s deputies from all walks of life, President Liu gave us instructions on “fighting for the sake of building a people’s production in Chongqing” to resume the production-centered mission of Chongqing. In the past year, we encountered tremendous difficulties in resuming production. However, we responded to the call of Deng’s political commissar, “Unite to Overcome Difficulties,” and overcome the difficulties with the joint efforts of the people in the city. The achievements have also been remarkable .
