陈传席:旭奇,辽宁丹东人,祖籍山东,二地皆出慷慨悲歌、英雄豪杰之士,其地之人为文为艺亦类之。旭奇少喜画,虽身经农、工、兵,直到大学教师历尽沧桑,艰苦卓绝,而其志不衰。其作画,始为工笔,后写意,风格多样,然皆深沉雄浑、大气磅礴,颇多豪迈气象;其为人豪爽有古风,或其本色也。旭奇于画,神于好,精于勤,练画不止,读书无休。知画史,晓画理,通古今之变。其画日新又新,前途不可限量也。
