目前,通用电气公司(GE是道)·琼斯工业指数1896年创立以来唯一一家至今仍榜上有名的企业。在过去的一个世纪的全球企业家中,GE的杰克·韦尔奇可谓是佼佼者,其许多的管理念和实际管理操作方法对于中国的企业家们将会有很多的启迪。本文作者从1997年开始跟踪研究GE的管理模式,1999年访问了GE美国总部;随后,在99《财富》论坛上海年会上,他又现场聆听了韦尔奇的一席发言。这一切促使他把自己对GE及韦尔奇的理解撰写成文,以期对正在走向世界、冲刺“财富500强”的中国企业家们有所启示。
Currently, GE (GE is the Dow) · Jones Industrial Index since its inception in 1896, is still the list of companies that are still on the list. Among the global entrepreneurs of the past century, GE's Jack Welch is a leader, and many of its management concepts and practices will be enlightening for Chinese entrepreneurs. The author began tracking and studying the management of GE from 1997 and visited GE's US headquarters in 1999. He then listened to Welch's speech at the 99 Fortune Forum Shanghai Annual Meeting. All this prompted him to write down his own understanding of GE and Welch in an attempt to enlighten Chinese entrepreneurs who are moving into the world and sprint Fortune 500.
