According to a study by Scientia Horticulturae (Nov. 11, 2013), researchers from Northwest A & F University studied the effects of bagging on the intrinsic and intrinsic quality of Jonathanus apples and the transcriptional level of key anthocyanin biosynthesis genes. There were 3 treatments in total: control (no bagging), bagging and bagging, and sampling at 0, 6, 30, 3, 7 and 14 days respectively. Peel and pulp tissue samples separately.
