目前,存在高校大学生不出席英语课堂的现象,在非英语专业专科学生中这一现象更加突出。本文通过作者在课堂教学实践中对高校非英语专业专科学生自身特点及自学情况的分析,来反驳某些学生“用英语课的时间,自己在别处(教室以外)进行自学,更能把英语学好”不去上课的理由,进而阐述大学英语课堂对非英语专业专科学生英语学习的重要性。
At present, there is a phenomenon in which college students do not attend the English class. This phenomenon is more prominent among non-English majors. This article analyzes the characteristics and self-study of college non-English majors in the classroom teaching practice to refute some students’ "learning time in English, and to conduct self-study elsewhere (outside of the classroom), and to better practice English. Learn the reasons for not attending class, and then explain the importance of college English class for non-English majors in English learning.
