In the presence of PAV lines in single oats infected with the barley yellow dwarf virus MAV and PAV strains, either alone or in combination, the mechanism by which MAV relies on the transmission of Aphis gracilaria. Double-enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used. The virus particles are adsorbed with the PAV polyclonal antibody, which is made from double-inoculated oats and therefore reacts with MAV monoclonal antibodies. When the virus particles were adsorbed by PAV polyclonal antibody, the film was tested for virus toxicity, and the percentage of MAV that was infected by the Aphis gossypii was significantly decreased. This result shows that some virus particles contain, in the case of dual infection by MAV and PAV, A variety of epitopes, so phenotypic mixing MAV rely on PAV for transmission reasons.
