发展学生思维品质是高中英语课程的基本要求,如何在教学实践中实现这一目标,需要广泛的教学实践。基于发展思维能力的有效实践可知,提问对此具有显著成效,尤其是对学生回答的有效追问,则更为有效。本文以人教版高中《英语》选修七Unit 2 Satisfaction Guaranteed故事教学中的课堂提问、以及对学生回答的追问为例,分析基于提问与追问的深度提问,发展学生思维品质的实践可能,提出深度提问发展思维能力的形式,读前深度提问可显著促进思维准确性发展,读中提问可显著促进思维准确性与逻辑性、深刻性发展,读后深度提问可显著促进学生思维的系统性、整体性、批判性的发展。
