白豆蔻为我国至今仍靠进口的重要南药。市售商品有园豆蔻(原植物为白豆蔻Amomum Kravanh Pierre ex Gagnep)和小白蔻(原植物为爪哇白豆蔻A Compactum Soland ex Maton)。据分析挥发油收得率:前者为3.8%,后者为5.1%。我国引种的产品,小白蔻海南为6.8%,云南为5.4%,高于进口商 White cardamom is still an important import medicine in our country.
