城市形象从表面上看是物质的,但从实质上说却是城市文化的外在化,体现的是城市文化的全部内涵。文化是分层次的,即外层、中层和内层;文化也是分形态的,即知识形态、观念形态和艺术形态,它们共同决定了城市形象的定位。城市形象在经济与社会发展中的作用归根到底是城市文化在经济与社会发展中的作用问题。因此,只有准确地对城市形象进行文化定位,才抓住了城市形象的根本,这是大连城市形象研究的重中之重。
The image of the city is material on the surface, but in essence it is the externalization of the urban culture, embodying the entire connotation of urban culture. Culture is hierarchical, that is, the outer, middle and inner; culture is also sub-shaped, that is, the form of knowledge, ideas and art form, which together determine the positioning of the city's image.
