Lidocaine is widely used in the treatment and prevention of ventricular arrhythmias, especially for patients with early myocardial infarction. Its antiarrhythmic effect depends mainly on cardiac and serum drug concentrations. Serum concentration of 1.2mg / l only a slight anti-arrhythmia, 6mg / l or more can cause central nervous depression, 9-10mg / l above caused serious neurotoxicity
