卵巢恶性肿瘤在女性生殖器官癌瘤中发病率占第三位,次于宫颈癌、宫体癌,占生殖道恶性肿瘤的22.9％。近年来,由于对宫颈癌及宫体癌的防治取得一定的成效,而有关卵巢癌的防治方面成效相对较低,所以,在女性生殖道恶性肿瘤中,卵巢癌的死亡率占据第一位。
