Optimization of cutting process parameters is to improve the efficiency of machining a powerful measure, but also to achieve CAPP and CNC automatic programming an important part of, so the study of the best cutting amount of practical significance, has caused widespread attention of machining workers. At present, the optimization method of cutting dosage generally adopts the continuous variable optimization method. In fact, the machine speed and feed rate are all discrete values with different intervals. Therefore, the discrete variable optimization method is adopted in this paper to optimize the cutting amount. In the optimization method, the complex variable method of discrete variables is improved, a new method of optimization is proposed, and the correctness of the method is proved by the running of the machine. Aiming at a turning machining example, a mathematical model with the lowest processing cost as the objective function is established.
