据外刊报道,由于受原料成本高、进口增长的影响,日本许多毛巾生产厂商的生存受到威胁。在日本毛巾生产很集中的今治地区,过去12个月左右时间里毛巾生产的厂家减少了约40％。 中国是日本毛巾进口的最大供应国,遥遥领先于其他国家。1995年头10个月中国对日本毛巾的出口占日本进口毛巾总量的73％以上,1995年1～10月日本从中国进口的毛巾比1994年同期增长24％,日本从其它供应国的进口量也以类似的幅度增长。
According to foreign media reports, due to the high cost of raw materials, the impact of import growth, the survival of many towel manufacturers in Japan are under threat. In the area of Imabari, where towel production is concentrated in Japan, the number of towel manufacturers has been reduced by about 40% in the past 12 months or so. China is Japan’s largest supplier of towel imports, far ahead of other countries. In the first 10 months of 1995, China’s exports of towels to Japan accounted for over 73% of the total number of towels imported from Japan. From January to October 1995, Japan’s imports of towels from China increased by 24% over the same period in 1994 and Japan’s imports from other suppliers Also increased by a similar margin.
