The surgical treatment of laryngeal cancer has an important impact on the quality of life of patients. In the past 10 years, domestic scholars have adopted the Washington University Living Quality Scale, Head and Neck Cancer Functional Assessment Scale, the University of Michigan Head and Neck Cancer Quality of Life Scale , The European Center for Cancer Research and Treatment Quality of Life Scale and Head and Neck Specific Scale, Quality of Life Comprehensive Assessment Questionnaire and other common scales and self-developed laryngectomy patient quality of life questionnaire, the social role of the change questionnaire, etc. A lot of research has been done in the field. The review of the relevant literature suggests that the overall quality of life of patients after partial laryngectomy is better than that after total laryngectomy. The patients with laryngectomy are superior to patients after total laryngectomy in terms of quality of life such as verbal communication and appearance, So that patients after partial laryngectomy can better integrate into the community, enjoy a relatively good state of life.
