Cities in the United States can now participate in the Public Art Challenge project, an innovative, temporary public art project created by the New York Bloomberg Philanthropies. The project invites 30,000 or more citizens in U.S. cities to submit project proposals on urban creativity and change. The challenge is to improve the quality of urban life and to reposition the arts in society. At least three cities will receive $ 1 million every two years to build community art
