On September 18, 2014, Western Digital announced that its first R & D center for system testing in Asia was established in Shanghai and was formally put into service. As an extension of Western Digital’s ESG Lab headquarters in the United States, Western Digital Asia Pacific System Test R & D Center will be able to reach customers in China and throughout Asia.
