果树花期遇到大风能影响授粉,从而降低座果率。1981年5月1至8日,正值苹果开花期,刮了五天西南和东南风,风力4—8.7米/秒,一天东风,风力5.7米/秒,两天北和西北风,风力7米/秒。主风是偏南向风。之后,我们调查树冠南面(迎主风方向),座果率为13.4%;北面(背主风处),座果率为23%,相差9.6%。可见,今后建园时营造防风林是非常必要的,特别是风大的地区。
