云南省医疗保险异地就医联网结算工作于2009年启动实施,至2013年实现省内全覆盖。覆盖人群从职工扩展到居民,作为一项适应社会经济发展和就业模式多元化要求应运而生的民生工作,异地就医联网结算在解决异地就医难、管理服务难,保障医疗保险基金安全、高效使用,维持现行医疗保险制度平稳、有效运行方面显示出了积极作用。
