In the first two months of 2013, the export situation of China’s steel products was better than the market expectation, with a total of 9.16 million tons of exports, an increase of 28.7% over the same period of last year. However, some people in the industry expressed concern about the sustainability of the steel export growth late. The latest customs data show that in the first two months of 2013, China exported 9.16 million tons of steel products, up 28.7% over the same period of last year, of which, 4.92 million tons were exported in January 2013, up 31.9% over the same period of last year; while those for February were 4.24 million tons, up 25.7% .
