中国美术家协会第二届中国画艺术委员会成立大会于1999年5月8日至9日在景色秀丽的文化古城苏州隆重召开。 江苏省委宣传部副部长许洪祥,苏州市人大常委会主任、市委副书记黄俊度,苏州市贸易局局长宋文辉,苏州市贸易局副局长华永根,苏州五金交电股份有限公司董事长章晨出席了会议。许洪祥、黄俊度以及专程从上海赴苏州莅临会议的中国画画家程十发均作了热情的讲话,对中国画艺委会的成立和会议的召开表示了热烈的祝贺。
