2014年7月20日,美国高尔夫协会主办的13场全国性锦标赛之一——拥有38年历史的美国女子公共林克斯业余锦标赛的赛程华丽落幕,本届为该场赛事的最后一届比赛。明年(2015年)开始,这一赛事将改为美国女子业余团体四球锦标赛。为这场具有时代意义的赛事画下圆满句号的最后一位冠军,就是15岁的上海姑娘常文惠,她同时也成为了第一位在美国高尔夫协会赛事中夺冠的中国内地选手。赛后,刻有常文惠名字的冠军奖杯和由她捐赠的签名一号木,将进入美国高尔夫协会的博物馆,珍藏留念。
On July 20, 2014, one of 13 national championships sponsored by the American Golf Association - the 38-year-old US Women’s Public Links Amateur Championship finished well and this is the last race of the event . Starting next year (2015), the event will be replaced by the US Women’s Amateur Sports Team Four-Ball Championship. The final winner of a landmark event for this historic event is the 15-year-old Shanghai girl Chang Wenhui, who also became the first mainland player to win the USGA. After the match, the champion trophy engraved with Chang Wenhui’s name and the signature number one donated by her will enter the museum of the United States Golf Association and collect their souvenir.
