Heat Consumption Index of Buildings The index of building heat consumption refers to the amount of heat required to be supplied by the mining equipment in order to maintain the indoor temperature of 18°C and the unit area of the building in unit time within the average outdoor temperature during the heating period. It is an important indicator used to evaluate and control the energy consumption of buildings. The heat consumption control indicators for heating residential buildings in different regions are shown in Figure 1.
