对于甲午战争的失败许多学者从各个方面进行分析总结,有认为体制决定失败的;有从系统论的理论上分析的;有从中日军事技术上分析战争的,这些分析都是很有见地。当然战争是两国之间综合实力的较量,多种因素都在对战争的结局发挥作用,文章认为,在导致中国战败的诸多因素中,地方意识对战争的结局有相当大的影响。
Many scholars analyzed and summarized various aspects of the failure of the Sino-Japanese War. They thought that institutional decisions failed, that they were systematically analyzed theoretically, and that there were insights from the military and technical analysis of the war between China and Japan. Of course, the war is the overall strength of the contest between the two countries. Many factors are playing a role in the outcome of the war. The article holds that local consciousness has a considerable impact on the outcome of the war among the many factors that led to the defeat of China.
