绿麻竹属禾本科植物.丛生,秆高8～10 m,地下茎节密粗短,须根发达,繁殖力强,它集蔬菜、绿化、水土保持于一体。我县主要在河岸及房前屋后种植。全县面积80多hm~2。绿麻竹鲜笋盛产期在5～10月,可提供并缓和高温季节的淡季蔬菜。近年来.有部分绿麻竹园由于管理粗放,只顾采笋,疏于投入,造成母竹老化。鲜笋低产、质差。1997年,我县在盖德等地对低产绿麻竹园进行改造,取得显著成效,鲜
Green bamboo is a gramineous plant.
