如何通过社会这门课程为孩子们更好地发展服务,是广大学校与教师们正在着力探讨的课题。本刊选登江阴市华士实验学校一年级的一堂社会课（实录）,希望能给目前正在进行的探讨提供一个案例。这堂课采用的是孩子们喜欢的辩论赛形式,论题“小朋友们来上学是自己走好呢?还是大人送好呢?”由中央教科所原所长阎立钦当堂出示,孩子们根据自己的认识,自主选择辩方阵队、自主发表议论,教师自始至终只起一个穿针引线的作用。在场的教育专家除了阎立钦,还有教育部师范司副司长、华东师范大学教授袁振国。有必要说明一下:选登这一课堂实录,并非要让大家模仿,而是要给大家研究的。
