蜂群安全越冬是蜂群管理工作中的一个非常重要的环节。近几年来,笔者根据上海地区气候特点、蜜源情况作了几次探索性尝试,取得了较好效果,越冬蜂的死亡率20～30％左右,饲料消耗每框蜂一市斤左右。蜜蜂、蜂王休养生息恰当,翌年早春繁殖快,定地饲养于上海地区,能在一个月中,在无大蜜源的情况下,由四框蜂繁殖至12～14框,及时投入油菜花期生产,夺取蜂蜜、王浆的丰收。
