无论从何种角度看,《丝路游》杂志都是新疆期刊界的一个品牌。在新疆入选“中国期刊方阵”的21种刊物中,《丝路游》杂志名列其中。近几年来,有关地理旅游的图书和刊物突然受到人们的青睐,各出版社和杂志社纷纷打出旅游的招牌,对具体的区域、文化和民族进行介绍。一时间,各地区的旅游景点,甚至一些不为人知和长期以来不受人关注的地方,被人们用文字和图片展示出来。“地理”这一通常有着具体指向的词语,一下子焕发出了引人注目的光彩,它甚至已经不再是单纯的区域概念和指向,而是包含着人们趣味旅行和精神探寻的一种更具内涵的行为。
