公民对信息获取的权利,是世界各国普遍认同的一项基本人权。保证每一位公民都拥有平等的信息权利,不但是一种公共需求的表现,也是社会公平的一个重要体现。图书馆作为提供信息服务的公共机构,在保证公民享有平等信息权利的过程中负有重要的责任。
Citizens’ right to obtain information is a basic human right universally accepted by all countries in the world. To ensure that every citizen has equal rights of information is not only a manifestation of public needs but also an important manifestation of social fairness. As a public institution that provides information services, libraries have an important responsibility to ensure that citizens have the right to equal information.
