自13年前IBM公司推出AS/400以来,由于其优异的安全性、可靠性及集成性等特点,赢得了众多客户的青睐,成为多用户商用领域的主流机型。2000年10月,AS/400重整并加入到IBM的eServer家族中,成为eServer i系列。作为历年IBM eServer i系列用户和合作伙伴的一大盛事,IBM eServer i系列合作伙伴及用户大会于8月8日至9日在青岛召开。百余家IBM的合作伙伴、近五百家i系列的用户出席了此次大会,i系列不断创新的精神及与合作伙伴和用户的多赢策略不仅使i系列在第二季度取得了74％的增长,而且也是本次大会的主题。
