Metso will supply the world’s largest crawler mobile crushing plant to the Altay Polimetally LLP copper mine in Kazakhstan. The contract also includes a large mobile feed and conveying system for downstream copper ore feed to provide process and installation supervision and training services. The 400t Lokotrack LT200 mobile crushing plant is by far Metso’s largest mobile crusher plant in the world. It is a key part of the entire process system with a production capacity of 2500 t / h. The entire mobile system is powered by electricity to cope with the harsh winter conditions in the area.
