学校是推广普通話的基地,而廣大教师則又是推广普通話的一支强有力的队伍。学校中普通話工作开展得好和坏,与教师們对这一工作的重視与否有很大关系。教师是儿童的榜样,一举一动都給儿童以很大影响。教师自己不学普通話,將如何要求儿童?或是自己用普通話教学了,但不向儿童推广,自己講課儿童听不懂,(特別是苏南一帶)又如何提高教学質量?为此,今后在学校中如何全面地推广普通話,則是我們目前应該注意的一件事了。
The school is a base for the promotion of Putonghua, and the majority of teachers are also a strong force for promoting Putonghua. The work of Putonghua in schools is good or bad, and it has a lot to do with teachers’ attention to this work. Teachers are role models for children. Every move has a great influence on children. Teachers do not learn Mandarin, how will they ask for children, or teach themselves in Putonghua, but they do not promote it to children. Their children cannot understand what they teach (especially in the area south of Jiangsu Province) and how can they improve the quality of teaching? How to promote Putonghua thoroughly in schools is an issue that we should pay attention to now.
