在全国人民认真贯彻落实党的十五大和人大九届一次会议确定的路线和任务的大好形势下,中国土木工程学会第七次全国会员代表大会暨第8届学术年会于1998年3月31日至4月3日在北京清华大学隆重召开.这是一次继往开来,承前启后的大会;这是一次面向二十一世纪、全面开创学会工作新局面的大会;也是全国土木工程界的代表欢聚一堂,交流经验,共商发展大事,迎接二十一世纪挑战的一次盛会.
While the people throughout the country are conscientiously implementing the excellent line and tasks set by the party’s 15th National Congress and the Ninth National People’s Congress meeting, the 7th National Member Congress and the 8th Academic Annual Meeting of the China Civil Engineering Society was held in March 1998. The conference was held in Tsinghua University in Beijing from the 31st to the 3rd of April. This is a conference that will be carried forward and inherited from the past; it is a conference that will open up a new phase for the work of the Institute in the 21st century. It will also be a gathering of civil engineering representatives from all over the country. , exchange experiences, discuss development issues, and meet a major event for the challenges of the 21st century.
