We all heard stories when we were young and we all learned history when we were in secondary school. We all know the story of Zheng He going down the west and we all know that Columbus discovered the story of the global navigation of America and Magellan. We all know that Zheng He fleet has advanced navigation technology and has traveled to many countries: not only to Southeast Asian countries and some Arab countries, but also to Africa. There are many people feeling that the policy of locking the country in the Ming Dynasty that “the flapper can not go down into the sea” has caused China to miss out on the era of geographical discovery and finally led the Western powers to “steal the huge ships from the Yangtze River.” We are also accustomed to saying that “Western learning is going east.” Some people have also heard that missionaries not only taught us geometric algebra, but also brought new news about our world geology and even taught us to draw modern maps
