山西同煤集团云冈矿位于大同市西郊17公里处,与著名的云冈石窟相毗邻,是我国自行设计、自行施工的现代化大型矿井。2005年核定生产能力为480万吨/年。云冈矿于1966年10月1日动工兴建,1973年3月31日建成投产,从建矿投产到2015年底,云冈矿共生产煤炭1.4亿吨,为国家经济建设做出了巨大贡献。矿先后荣获“国家特级安全质量标准化矿井”“特级安全高效矿井”“山西省五一劳动奖状”“山西省功勋企业”“国家级绿色矿山”“全煤系统文明单位”“山西省文明和谐单位”“大同市文明
Shanxi Tongmeng Group Yungang Mine is located 17 kilometers west of Datong City, adjacent to the famous Yungang Grottoes. It is a modernized large-scale mine designed and constructed by our country. Approved production capacity in 2005 was 4.8 million tons / year. Yungang Mine started construction on October 1, 1966 and was put into operation on March 31, 1973. From the time when the mine was put into operation to the end of 2015, Yungang Mine produced 140 million tons of coal and made great contributions to the country’s economic construction.
