If a product’s function is really good, you do not have to spend a lot of money, you tend to forgive, or even forget about minor problems. One such product is Epson’s new Expression Premium XP-520 (go, pcworld, com / xp520) color inkjet multifunction printer, which combines copy, scan and print functions for only $ 130. The output from its five-color ink Claria system is superb and it is easy to overlook undersized screens and less intuitive handling. What’s more, printing one page of four-color paper costs as little as 12.5 cents. Although not as cheap as a commercial inkjet printer, the cheaper price is practically unheard of for a low-capacity, low-cost multifunction printer.
