Fundamental changes in technology have made unique advances in artificial lift technology. Emphasizing the benefits of an irrefutable lifting device requires revolutionary design theory to achieve the desired characteristics leading to the development of the ULSPS. In 1985, an all-mechanical long-stroke device appeared. Ten years later, the proven ULSPS is an improved design based on the original long-stroke oil pumping unit.
