研究甘薯的吸肥特性,是甘薯生产中制定科学施肥技术的理论基础.国内从1961年起进行了亩产鲜薯4000斤左右条件下甘薯的生长营养和施肥技术的研究,初步明确了甘薯前期吸收氮素较多及栽后50天以内追施氮、钾肥.本所1964—1965年进行了低产条件下经济施肥技术的研究,基本明确了有机肥集中施及氮、钾化肥配合于栽后60天施效果较好.1978年省农科院进行了高产甘薯植株养分吸收分配研究.户刈义次等于1956年对甘薯吸肥性进行了较系统的研究,但产量水平较低,亩产鲜薯仅有3000斤左右.本所于1979—1980年重点对高产甘薯的吸肥特性进行了研究,以期为合理施肥提供依据.
