从策展的角度讲,倘若要在一个不了解印尼社会和文化现状的国度举办一场展览,试图真实重现印尼风土人情及其思想和艺术的发展,这样的尝试将会举步维艰。而《当代性——印度尼西亚当代艺术展》则将通过展出印尼个体艺术家及其作品的方式,以电影和视觉艺术为重点,介绍当代文化中最具影响力的个人感悟。
From a curatorial point of view, such an attempt would be difficult if it were to host an exhibition in a country that did not understand the social and cultural status of Indonesia in an attempt to truly reproduce the development of Indonesian customs, their ideas and their arts. The “Contemporary - Contemporary Indonesian Art Exhibition” will introduce the most influential personal sentiment in contemporary culture through the exhibition of individual Indonesian artists and their works, focusing on film and visual arts.
