陈建宪,男,汉族,1954年6月生,湖北省麻城市人。著名民间文学理论家,现任华中师范大学文学院副院长,教授,博士生导师,华中师范大学民间文化研究中心副主任,民间文学教研室主任,民俗学专业硕士点指导组组长,中国民俗学会理事、湖北省民间文艺家协会副主席。主要研究领域为中国神话学和民俗学。主要论著有《神祗与英雄——中国古代神话的母题》《神话解读——母题分析方法探索》《玉皇大帝信仰》《中国洪水神话的类型与分布》等,译著有《中国文化象征词典》《世界民俗学》《中西叙事文学比较研究》等。
Chen Jianxian, male, Han nationality, born in June 1954, Macheng City, Hubei Province. The famous folk literature theorist, the current Huazhong Normal University, vice president of literature, professor, doctoral tutor, Huazhong Normal University Folk Culture Research Center, deputy director, director of folk literature, folklore professional master point guidance group leader, Chinese Folklore Society Director, Vice Chairman of Hubei Folk Literature and Art Association. The main research areas are Chinese mythology and folklore. Major works include “gods and heroes - the motif of ancient Chinese mythology,” “myth interpretation - explore the motif analysis method”, “Jade Emperor”, “China flood myth types and distribution”, translated “Chinese culture symbol Dictionary ”“ World Folklore ”“ Comparative Study of Chinese and Western Narrative Literature ”and so on.
