去年底,国际红十字会公布了一个新的标志:红水晶,便于对红十字和红新月标志有抵触情绪的以色列使用。红十字标志已经沿用了143年, 红新月标志也使用了77年。而红水晶是一个没有任何民族、政治或宗教含义的标志。伴着“哪里有战争,哪里有饥荒,哪里就有红十字会” 的标语,这个源自瑞士的非赢利性机构成为了当今世界上与“奥林匹克”、“WTO”等齐名的认知度最高的名字。
At the end of last year, the International Committee of the Red Cross announced a new symbol: red crystal, for easy use by Israel, which is resistant to the red cross and red crescent emblems. The Red Cross has been in use for 143 years and the Red Crescent also used for 77 years. The red crystal is a sign without any national, political or religious meaning. With the slogan “Where there is war, where there is famine, where there is a Red Cross,” the non-profit organization from Switzerland has become the world’s “Olympics”, “WTO” and so on. The most commonly known name.
