邓小平同志在党的全国代表会议上号召各级干部要学习马克思主义理论,在新闻战线产生了强烈的反响。许多同志认为,这对于我们在新的形势下坚持新闻工作的正确方向,提高新闻宣传的质量和建设党的新闻队伍,都至关重要。作为党的新闻工作者,我们的基本职责就是要宣传马克思主义,当然首先要学习马克思主义。最近,我同报社的一些记者、编辑谈论这个问题时,大家都渴望能从理论上提高自己。
