Since Sweden mine has adopted the mechanized deep hole drilling equipment manufactured by Atlas Gopco Company, the drilling rig efficiency has been increased by 3.5 to 5 times over the past ten years. This article describes the technical performance of such rock drilling equipment and methods to improve rock drilling efficiency.
