徐州23号是徐州农科所1981年用偏春性、大穗大粒小麦品种徐州21号的原系号7654-2-1-1-1材料为母本,以半冬性、多穗、中早熟小麦品种郑州761作父本,通过有性杂交、温室加代和连续多年单株选择,于1987年育成的.原系号是81161-1-12-2-2,编号为徐州8785.1988年开始参加本所品系鉴定圃试验,1993年4月通过江苏省农作物品种审定委员会审定,定名为徐州23号.该品种于1981年夏杂交,获杂交种子
