传统英语写作教学法一般从词、句入手,进而教授段落和整篇文章的写作,根据文体和用途,又将文章分为描写文、记叙文、说明文和论说文四大类进行教学。这种教学法以各类优秀作品为范文,强调作文成品(finished product)所应达到的标准,有其可取之处,但也有缺陷。最大的缺点是没有教学生如何克服写作中的具体困难,写出好文章来。在写作课上,我们常见到一些同学在作文时嘴咬笔杆、手搔脑袋、写写停停、勾勾划划,经过好一番折腾才勉强写出来。要使这些同学走出写作的困境,如何审题、
The traditional method of teaching English writing generally begins with the words and sentences, and then the teaching of paragraphs and the whole article. According to the style and purpose, the article is divided into four categories: descriptive, narrative, explanatory and thesis. This method of teaching takes all kinds of excellent works as examples and emphasizes the standard to be met for finished products, which has its merits and demerits.
