1981年,我县总结推广了长征公社新村大队种子场保护地番茄制杂交种的经验。有4个公社25个场、队采用了这种方法,面积约24亩,增产都比较显著。据调查,保护地番茄每千株可制种7斤,而露地番茄每千株只有0.7～0.8斤。 (一)方法 (1)播种与定植:父本(满斯)于12月中旬播种,母本(“77—3—5—10早红”,简称“新早”)于1月下旬播种,育好种苗;父本定植期为3月下旬,母本为4月初。分别定植于温室或早熟栽培的塑料小棚保护地。母本、父本配比为 3:1。
